The core of the FIRST Lego League (FLL) competition is to design, build and program a robot. This robot needs to autonomously complete a series of missions on a 4’x 8′ playing field. Autonomously means that the robot operators can only touch the robot while it is in base, which is a small area in the corner of the playing field. All robots in the FLL are based on Lego NXT (Mindstorm) and only official lego pieces are allowed to be used for the robot.
The Igutechs developed and tried out a number of designs until we decided to use “IguBot 3.0”. Since the competition is still in full swing, we are not revealing anything about our robot on our webpage except a small preview picture….
We think the design is really cool. The judges were very impressed and we were able to score consistently in the top 10% of all teams….
