Coach Harald wins Compass Award at PA States

Igutech FTC attended the annual FTC PA State Championship on Saturday Feb 25, 2017. Although our robot Falcon is a preformance machine, luck was not on our side and we preformed poorly in the rankings. We also nominated our mentor, Coach Harald, for the compass award because he’s an inspirational mentor!

Above is the video which the team created in complete secrecy and which won first place. Coach harald didn’t know he was nominated untill the video played!

Thanks for the amazing season PA FTC, Sponsors, mentors, and parents!

This season was truly special and challenging! From wrangling the new software system to developing a cane-shooting-pullup-robot-which-weights-39-pounds this season had it all! We’re all excited for next year’s challenge and we can’t wait to see what it’s going to be! Although the igutech season is over, the FTC season isn’t! Several team members are planning on voulnteering at the East Superregionals and Tilman’s going to be attending World’s as a Dean’s list finalist.

Thanks for the wonderful season,

-Team Igutech, 6964
